Being Safe Online

This week our assemblies have been focusing on staying safe when using technology. Clearly there are many benefits when using technology but unfortunately there is also a harmful side. Children have been made aware of the dangers of communicating with others via the internet as well as sharing personal information. Often problems arise when children have unsupervised access to phones, tablets and game consoles. If, as parents and carers, you become aware of issues relating to online safety or children falling out due to unguarded communication, please let a member of staff know. We also have a CEOP (child exploitation and protection command) button on the front of our school website where issues can be reported.
