Red Nose Day
The school was painted in a sea of red on Friday 21st March as the school threw its support behind the 40th year of Comic Relief- Red Nose Day. Each class had their own fundraising idea which included:
- England did 40 metres of side rolls
- Ireland made something from 40 lego bricks
- Italy used 40 signs with sign language
- Argentina danced for 40 minutes
- Mexico planted 40 seeds
- Maldives threw and caught a ball 40 times
- Kenya completed 40 laps round the field
It was an exciting time and the children clearly enjoyed having fun and raising money for the many good causes funded through this national event. The school’s total was an amazing £ 2,164! What a generous and supportive community we are all a part of.
